'Drafts for comments' offers bulletin readers the opportunity to submit information about drafts or projects on which they would like to receive comments from the community. This brings work in progress to the attention of the community and plays some of the role that previous incarnations of the archive played.
From Adam Przepiórkowski (adamp@ipipan.wa.pl):
"A draft of the “LFG and HPSG” chapter is available at
https://ling.auf.net/lingbuzz/005802:
This chapter presents and compares Lexical Functional Grammar and
Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar. It concentrates on their
fundamental properties rather than on analyses of particular
phenomena. After discussing representations assumed in each theory and
the kinds of grammars that lead to such representations, the chapter
devotes some attention to models explicitly or implicitly assumed in
HPSG and LFG: it identifies some problems and suggests possible
solutions."
Please submit basic article/project information and (a) a URL if the item is available online or else (b) your contact email.
