To find your way once you are at the university, look out for the yellow overhead signs with the capital letters. The letters mark the respective buildings.
The meeting will take place in G307.To see the outlay of the university, go to the university site plan.
How to get to Konstanz:
By plane:
Zurich Airport:
Hourly trains from the airport to the main station in Konstanz (travel time: 1 hour). For train tickets, go to SBB.
Stuttgart Airport:
Regular connections to the main station (travel time: 3,5 hours). For train tickets, go to Deutsche Bahn.
By car:
From Stuttgart:
Take A81 in direction to Singen. Once you are in Konstanz, follow the signs to the university.
From Zurich:
Take A7 in direction to Kreuzlingen/Konstanz. Once you crossed the boarder, follow the signs for "Mainau" first and then look out for signs to the university.
How to get to the university:
Buses to the university leave just in front of the main station. Take either bus 9A or 9B, they will stop right in front of the main entrance of the university. You can also take bus 4 and get out at Egg.

For those of you who want a bit more luxury, the Golden Tulip Halm Konstanz offers nice rooms opposite the train station, from 72 Euro onwards (without breakfast).
Another option is Hotel Viva, Litzelstetten which offers stylish rooms, wellness opportunities and a lavish breakfast (single rooms 60 Euro). It is very close to a bus stop of bus 4, which also goes to university.
We haven't reserved any rooms in these places, so you might want to book quite early.
Humboldt Institut Konstanz
The Humboldt Institut in Konstanz is close to the university and can be reached by bus 4. We have reserved three double rooms until February 28th, 2010. For reservation, please get in contact with Andrea Seeler (andrea dot seeler at uni-konstanz dot de). Prices range from 30 to 40 Euro per night (breakfeast included).
